Power supply
The power supply is a hardware component that supplies power to an electrical device. It receives power from an electrical outlet and converts the current from AC to DC, which are the computers requirements. Also regulates voltage to keep the computer running smoothly without overheating. Power supply must work correctly for the rest of the components to work.
Computer cooling
Use of heatsinks cooled by airflow reduces the temperature rise produced by a given amount of heat. Computer fans are used along with heatsinks to lower temperature by actively exhausting hot air. Other cooling techniques such as liquid cooling are available too.
